Everlife 2 lets you live out the game of life on mobile, where every decision matters

• Everlife 2 is out now on iOS and Android, letting you live your life out
• Choose how to study, how to marry, how to live and how to die
• See your family grow and continue on the legacy as your children take over

How do you describe a life? Well, both philosophers and game designers have tried to answer that question. And the latest to do so is Everlife 2, a new life sim that's just released on mobile where every decision counts. Many games claim to let you live your own life, but Everlife 2 might be the closest you really get...

But Everlife 2 doesn't just cover your own character's life - it also covers that of their ancestors and descendants. Every season takes you through different crucial decisions, about marriage, school, employment and whatnot. And on top of that, your character's own backstory and even their Zodiac sign can affect how their life turns out.

Live a life

Sure, it may be a bit of a hokey premise. After all, they can't possibly account for every single variable in a person's life. But it's nonetheless a pretty ambitious concept for any game! And to achieve that, there are some places where Everlife 2 is a little minimalist compared to other games. The graphics, for one, consist of simple, stylised art, and every decision is made via simple choices, like a text game.

But, that does mean it can offer a surprisingly in-depth simulation where your actions have knock-on effects on both your current character and those who come after. While that means you'll have the sad moments as well as the happy ones, Everlife 2 will let you take your cast of fictional characters through the rollercoaster ride of life in the palm of your hand.

And while I can't promise they'll let you live out your own life from birth to death, there are plenty of other ways to experience the adventure of a lifetime. Just take a look at our list of the best RPGs on Android for some of our top selections!
