Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra opens pre-registration for the 4v4 MOBA

Fans of the Dragon Ball series who are looking for a new release to scratch that Shonen battling itch are in luck. Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, the upcoming 4v4 MOBA from Bandai Namco, has now officially opened pre-registration, as well as announcing a suite of upcoming milestone rewards to boot!

By signing up early, you will be able to benefit from various goodies, depending on how many overall pre-registrations are received. Initially, these are quite basic, with 300k netting all players 300 Zeni. But for a whopping three million sign-ups, you will receive Son Goku (Mini), an exclusive character inspired by the currently airing Dragon Ball Daima! 

Gekishin Squadra itself meanwhile promises an authentic Dragon Ball experience, with the ability to play a variety of characters drawn from the iconic series. This includes mainstays such as Goku and Vegeta, as well as more welcome fan-favourites like everyone's favourite Namekian, Piccolo.

Considering how often the Dragon Ball series spin-offs have focused more on one-on-one fights, it's welcome to see something with more of a multiplayer focus, such as Gekishin Squadra. Promising a roster of classic Dragon Ball characters and their special abilities, it certainly seems an authentic experience.

The focus on cross-play, meanwhile, is an excellent idea. You will be able to play across PC, console and mobile without issue, meaning that no matter where you are in the world, you can always jump in and experience the fun and action of Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra. It's something that's happening more and more these days and I'm all for it.
