Cats&Soup introduces a new mechanic with the Cat Tower update, alongside a ton of new cosmetics to grab
As of today, NEOWIZ has announced that a brand new feature will be coming to their adorable little idle game Cats&Soup. This tower is a place where players will be able to interact with their cats, enjoy their super cute idle animations, and also furnish up and make their own. These features combined will bring a new way to interact with your favourite kitties, making this game that much more endearing.
On top of this, there will also be a celebratory event held until October 19th. This will bring with it a new hot air balloon skin simply titled Fairy Tales, along with the Ultimutt Pup friend cosmetic. Both of these items are, much like everything else in Cats&Soup, just heart-meltingly adorable, and are sure to spice up your idle cat garden even more than it already is.
And that’s not all! Alongside those two new additions, there will also be over 15 different kinds of limited items brought into the mix, including decor for your new Cat Tower as well as costume pieces, furniture coins, and puddings, which will all be handed out randomly in the gifts that your cats sometimes give to you.
But wait - there’s more! Four new limited packages will be introduced too, which are the Shade Tree Facility Skin package, the Cat Tower Decor package, and the Decor Package for Grand Opening. The Shade Tree package gives an oak-tree-inspired skin to your facilities, making it look more rustic and homey. The Cat Tower Decor package is, of course, a large pack of cosmetic skins to equip on your Cat Tower and its surrounding room. And finally, the Decor Package for Grand Opening is simply a barrage of various cosmetic skins to add to both your Cat Tower and your garden and cat homes alike.
All-in-all, this event is a little on the smaller side and is mostly focused on cosmetic items, but the Cat Tower addition sounds like a really sweet new way to be able to get closer to your kitties and appreciate their adorableness from way closer. It almost gives me Neko Atsume vibes the way that they have random idle animations and simply laze around looking cute.
