COD Mobile teases a crossover with legendary rapper Snoop Dogg

In a strange turn of events that would sound insane to anyone alive 10 years ago, the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg recently signed with the renowned FaZe Clan of primarily Call of Duty fame. Given this information, it makes sense that today the official Call of Duty Twitter account posted a tweet that is seemingly teasing a crossover with him coming potentially very soon.

Specifically, this teaser tweet seems to confirm that a new Snoop Dogg Operator skin will be available for Warzone and Call of Duty: Mobile. The tweet, quoted as saying “Recovered these Dogg Tags in battle. Anyone know whose they are?”, shows a pair of dog tags falling down from the top of the frame on a gold chain with the engraving “Call of Duty Mobile 040122”. Of course, this seems to imply that the skin will be coming to COD Mobile on 22nd April.

In case it wasn’t abundantly clear, that double G on the end of dog is no mistake in that tweet. Furthermore, in that same video, you can hear a familiar cough from the rapper alongside his trademark “damn” that is found in a billion of his songs. All of this is to say, this is less so a rumour and more a cheeky way to drum up hype for the new crossover.

Of course, given how popular Call of Duty is with the mainstream audience, this famous rap crossover is for sure to be a hit. People will assuredly love to see one of their absolute favourites in the music industry in their favourite game or play as them. Of course, this is not the first time Snoop Dogg has been involved with Call of Duty, as in COD Ghosts he actually had a voiceover pack DLC for sale.

With this new crossover, COD Mobile is only going to get even more popular despite already being one of the biggest mobile titles available right now. If you want to take to the battlefield looking like the sensational Snoop Dogg himself, you can play COD Mobile for free on both Google Play and the App Store.
