Call of Duty Mobile Season 7: New Vision City launches soon with an epic collaboration with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045
Season six of Call of Duty Mobile is in its last phase and Activision has just released the details on what’s to come next. Season seven of the battle royale won’t be like regular seasons as it features a massive collaboration event. Call of Duty Mobile and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 are coming together to create Season Seven – New Vision City.
Call of Duty Mobile’s Season seven – New Vision City launches on August 3rd. It will bring a bunch of elements from the Netflix series alongside new weapons, operators, and more in the battle pass. Speaking of the pass, the free tiers will grant rewards like the new Claw Operator Skill, the Switchblade X9 SMG, camos, weapon blueprints, and more, while the premium pass tiers include Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 inspired skins like Blackjack — Elite, Stryker — Interface, Battery — EVE-III, alongside other exclusive rewards.
The collaboration also brings New Vision City from the show into the battle royale. Nuketown is now neighboured by this futuristic city filled with bright neon lights, high-rises, and more. The crossover brings some gameplay changes like a new revival mechanic, which sees players collecting ghosts to bring back teammates, AI robots and dogs that reward parts on being defeated, and Cyberware Enhancements, four of which can be obtained to give players an edge during the match.
A new themed event will also be available this season. Called Tosuga’s Survey, it sees players help Tosuga prepare for the ultimate post-human battle. Players will have to complete a wide variety of tasks to complete for which they will also be handsomely rewarded. As always, new season challenges will be added, with updates to the store, and a special Ghost in the Shell event collection page.
