Nexon has just announced a new event story game for its popular mobile JRPG, Blue Archive. Titled On Your Mark @ Millennium Kivotos Halo Festival, the update will expand lore with the story of a biennial athletic event which introduces three new students. Plans for Blue Archive’s 1.5-year anniversary event will also be revealed through a special livestream.

Blue Archive’s Kivotos Halo Festival is a massive athletic event that takes place every two years. The event story will begin the day before the opening ceremony. It focuses on all the unexpected accidents that the students had to face as they prepared for the fest.

During the event, players will be able to participate in the exclusive lesion called Stadium. It grants a number of tasks that provide points as rewards, which can also be earnt by completing other event stories. These points can be redeemed against loads of items, including Hibiki (Cheer Squad)’s Eleph.

Furthermore, the story will feature three new characters in their Cheer Squad avatars. Utaha is a Mystic type Striker belonging to Millennium Science School. Her EX Skill makes her turret stronger for 90 seconds while also charging the activation conditions for basic skills.

Similarly, Noa is also a Mystic-type Striker from Millennium. Her EX Skill is more on the side of targeting an enemy for 40 seconds and decreasing their defence. Hibiki on the other hand, is an Explosive-type Striker who deals damage proportionate to enemy attack in a circular area. She can also do damage over time for two minutes.
