Black Desert Mobile's Land of the Morning Light is now live
After originally introducing it at the Heidel Ball event last month, Pearl Abyss has finally released the Land of the Morning Light expansion in Black Desert Mobile. Touted as the adventure RPG’s biggest update yet, it introduces a plethora of new characters, locations, and bosses inspired by Korea’s Joseon dynasty in addition to the Woosa Awakening class.
Black Desert Mobile’s Land of the Morning Light expansion takes players back to the late 1300s when the Joseon dynasty, Korea’s last dynastic kingdom, ruled over the land. A novel-like captivating storyline has been created for the occasion, which includes the Tale of the Gumiho as well as the Legend of the Shaman.
The update features unique boss battles with characters inspired by Korean folklore such as the ferocious Golden Pig Big, Gumiho the nine-tailed fox, Songakshi, the vengeful maiden ghost, and Bari the Mudang Wraith. Once these bosses are defeated in the Tale Collection, players can fight them in the Black Shine Mode, where the difficulty can be customized.
Fighting enemies in the Black Shrine mode grants Energy, which can be used to increase character stats for difficult battles. This will help especially against the new bosses as players must strategize their combat and playstyle in accordance with their opponent’s skillset. If you're looking for some freebies, check out this list of Black Desert Mobile coupon codes!

These items have been blessed with immense power and significantly boost the wearer’s attributes. It can be crafted using the Flame of Hongik that is obtained after defeating the monsters in the Black Shrine.
