Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance comes to Xbox Game Pass; eight games leaving the service soon

Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance has come to Xbox Game Pass across PC, console and cloud formats of the subscription service after being confirmed for it last month.

Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance has you gathering a party, choosing an adventurer and setting out on an epic brawl through Icewind Dale. It’s unlike the version of D&D you’re most familiar with, that uses character sheets and maths to solve problems, and instead plays like a third-person action brawler filled with iconic monsters and loot from the series.

The game was previously confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass back in May, where Xbox Wire mentioned it would be coming to PC, console and cloud. This means you can play the game on your mobile device using the xCloud feature that allows games to be streamed directly to your phone.

Meanwhile, eight games currently on Xbox Game Pass are set to leave the service on 30th June. Monster Hunter: World, Outer Wilds, Soulcalibur VI, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, The Messenger, Mistover, and Out of the Park Baseball 21 (bold titles are the ones available on the Cloud) will all be gone from Game Pass at the end of the month, so be sure to check them out if you had any interest in them.

Xbox recently also revealed that it will be developing games that are native to the cloud, led by former Valve developer Kim Swift (Left 4 Dead, Portal).

You can check out Game Pass and see about getting a subscription for yourself from the official website.
