Idle Game Tycoon is an idle sim that lets you build and manage your own game development company, heading for iOS and Android

Sunlight Games is releasing Idle Game Tycoon for Android and iOS soon, giving players a feel for what it’s like to develop and market games. The meta idle simulator lets you expand your own company in the games industry, featuring low poly graphics set in a 3D isometric view.

Developing and launching games is anything but easy, and Idle Game Tycoon aims to give players first-hand experience on the ins and outs of the making of a game. Of course, while video games are supposed to be fun, it’s not always a walk in the park behind the scenes.

To build a successful games company from the ground up, you’ll have to manage employees, hire great staff, and find not only talented workers but also those who can help make your dream a reality as you build your development studio out of a garage and into the corporate world.

Exciting and creative opportunities for expansion abound, along with tons of ways to optimize output and to innovate by researching new technologies. You’ll have to stay updated on the latest developments in every genre, as well as keep an eye out for the competition. Of course, you’ll also have to spend time decorating the office, because having a lovely workplace is always helpful for boosting employee morale.

Idle Game Tycoon also features a fun soundtrack and an option to assist with more accessible gameplay for left-handed and right-handed players. There’s no word yet on the official release date as of this writing, but you can find out more about the game (including screenshots and frequently asked questions) over at the official website. It will be available for both Android and iOS devices.
