The final bit of mobile-related news we have to bring you from Riot's announcing spree is that their popular Auto Chess game, Teamfight Tactics will be releasing for iOS and Android. There's no specific release date at the moment, we just know that it's 'coming soon'.

Teamfight Tactics was released earlier this June on PC, where it's currently accessible from within the League of Legends client itself. Since then it's become an incredibly popular game, reportedly hitting 33 million monthly players. So it's no surprise really that this auto-battler would make it's way to mobile eventually.

It's a good fit for mobile, seeing as it's entirely tactical rather than relying on dexterity skills. The game revolves around drafting a team from various League of Legends characters and pitting them against your opponents. Each character will have their own strengths and weaknesses that you'll have to consider when deciding who to send into battle and where to place them in your formation.

For instance, Yasuo will start combat with a shield if there are no other champions adjacent to him, so you'll ideally want to keep him separate to allow for that extra bit of survivability. Similarly, playing more than one Yordle increases the chances your opponent's attacks will soar over their tiny forms. Add all these variants together and you've got a lot of potential tactics to get to grips with.

Unlike League of Legends: Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics isn't an entirely new game. Therefore, it will support cross-play so you can use the same account across PC, Mac and mobile. It also means that the giant fanbase the game possesses won't be divided across the various platforms, which is good to hear.

If you can't wait to dive into some Teamfight Tactics on your phone then you can pre-register on Google Play now. There's no way to pre-order on iOS at present, however, the official site states the game is 'coming soon' so there may not be too long to wait.
