Hypergryph's anime-style gacha game on mobile is getting an actual anime adaptation as revealed from the game's official Twitter account. Titled "Prelude to Dawn", Season 1 of Arknights has officially been announced, with no definite release date as of yet.

Arknights has always had stunning animation videos whenever there's a new in-game event, so it only makes sense for the game to actually have an anime series. Produced by Yostar Pictures, the animation adaptation of the strategic mobile RPG still features the "Doctor" as the main character - at least, it seems that way from the teaser trailer reveal.

While we can't conclude more details about the animation adaptation from a clip that's less than a minute long, it does seem like things will be seen from the POV of the Doctor player, although we're still unsure if the main protagonist is going to be male or female.

To coincide with this announcement, Arknights has also released a new theme song titled "I Believe In Us" featuring Reigan. You can listen to the haunting melody from the game's official YouTube channel and marvel at the stunning album art for now as we wait for the music video that will supposedly be released soon as well.

For now, if you're eager to dive into the game so that you're well-prepared when the animation adaptation comes out, you can download Arknights on the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can also join the community of followers over on the game's official Facebook page to stay updated on all the latest developments.
