HoYo Fest 2025, new details released as fan event set to make a return

Fans of Zenless Zone Zero, Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact can rejoice because the always-popular HoYo Fest fan event is set to make a return in 2025. Coming to Southeast Asia, the Hoyo Fest event offers everything from an artist alley full of dedicated HoYoverse fan artists, cosplay performances and other fun-filled events.
For those not familiar, HoYo Fest follows in the footsteps of other dev-focused events like Blizzcon. Generally, it serves as a meeting point for fans of all of MiHoYo's smash-hit releases, but it also allows them to show off their enthusiasm.
Visitors attending events taking place in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries across Southeast Asia can expect to see cosplayers, artists and musicians in attendance, many of whom will take to the stage to show off their creativity.
Whatever your opinion on MiHoYo's increasingly-dominant catalogue of releases, it's undeniably got a hugely loyal fanbase. And to MiHoYo's credit, I think that can be attributed to their increased leaning into said fanbase with events such as HoYo Fest, live performances and fan showcases.
A lot of it comes down to fans feeling not only appreciated but that their efforts are being seen both by other fans and those in the wider world. So keep your eye out if you're in Southeast Asia because events will be taking place from July 24th to the 27th in specific locations.
