Wrestle Jump 2 is an upcoming physics-based game with silly one-button mechanics, launching on October 16th

Solo indie dev Otto Ojala has announced the upcoming launch of Wrestle Jump 2, a physics-based wrestling game where all you need is a single button to wrestle against your foes. Coming to both iOS and Android on October 16th, the game is completely free to play with no pesky ads or predatory in-app purchases, and promises a fun time filled with silly antics.

As the title suggests, Wrestle Jump 2 tasks you with flailing around and jumping across stages with your arms attached to your opponent's, just because it looks a heck of a lot funnier that way. With your limbs attached, you'll have to wiggle around and leap to make sure you smash your foe's head on the ground before they do the same thing to you. Whoever smashes their opponent's head first wins (as typical wrestling matches go?).

There's a wind factor to take into consideration, of course, and each time you score, you'll be rewarded with a fancy title and an indication of your overall power. That simple mechanic proves you don't have to have overly complicated rules or visuals to have a good time. Plus, there are variables like skates and pinball-esque levels that spice up the gameplay as well, so you can be sure there's always something new to ramp up the fun factor.
