Wobbly Life set to add a cartoonish twist to the open-world adventure game
- Wobbly Life offers a very wacky, physics-driven take on the open world life-sim
- Explore the city, get a job and become the richest wobbler
- Join up with your friends and do everything from deliver pizza to fly into space
Open-world games on mobile tend to be a mixed bag. Either they go all-in on fantastical ARPG action, like Genshin Impact, or they emulate the classic crime sims of GTA and Saints Row, like Grand Outlaws. But where the latter tend to flounder, Wobbly Life might just succeed despite its cartoonish looks.
The core concept of Wobbly Life is simply: you live with your grandma, and she finally has enough and kicks you out with one order: 'get a job!' From there, you explore the wide world (or city at least) taking on odd jobs and working your way up to being the richest wobbler there ever was.

Family-friendly open-world chaos
Yes, in case you hadn't twigged, this basically takes the open-world formula and tosses on plenty of activities and physics-based lunacy inspired by the likes of Gang Beasts and Fall Guys. And the breadth of activities on offer here is also pretty appealing, letting you do everything from deliver pizza to fly into space!Oh, and did I mention four-player co-op? Honestly, at first blush I didn't think much of Wobbly Life. But the more I look into it, the more interested I become. With everything from driving vehicles to in-depth character customisation and owning houses, it's like a more family-friendly version of Grand Theft Auto.
Wobbly Life is set to release around August 20th for both iOS and Android, and with cross-platform co-op as mentioned above it may have a significant life to come. So, keep your eyes peeled and get ready to take on the grandest challenge in our day and age: getting gainful employment.
Well, the bigger challenge may just be navigating the internet to get started! Why not take a trip back to the early days of the World Wide Web, and check out what our App Army thought of Hypnospace Outlaw?
