Wizardry Variants Daphne to launch new series of campaigns and a legendary adventurer

• Wizardry Variants Daphne is debuting a brand-new series of campaigns for the summer
• It includes the debut of a new legendary adventurer, Crow Master of Fortune Aldric
• There's also a new legendary quest where you team up with Yekaterina

Wizardry Variants Daphne is a revival of the hit Wizardry series, which came to define first-person dungeon crawlers, and arguably sparked a fantasy renaissance in Japan. It's little surprise then that the folks at Drecom Co. were so eager to translate it to mobile with Wizardry Variants Daphne, and now fans can jump into a series of new campaigns just in time for summer, including a new legendary adventurer!

This time around, it's Crow Master of Fortune Aldric, and in a surprising change from the usual dwarf stereotype, this isn't a "hammer first, ask questions later" type hero. Aldric specialises in rogueish activities and evading traps.

Aldric's abilities let him launch a low-damage but high-accuracy attack, which then increases his evasion. His crow companion will also counter-attack when he takes damage. Meanwhile, he continuously increases Detect, Evade Trap, Disarm Trap, and Trapophobia Tolerance traits, allowing you to evade all but the most densely trap-packed corridors.

A murder of crows

Aldric will be available from the limited-time events Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune and Remains of the Crow Handler Who Took Revenge on a Cult, available until July 9th. You'll be able to draw his equipment, the Raven Dagger, Sooty Cloth and Old Perch as part of the additional Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune (with bonus) event.

You'll want to keep checking in over the coming weeks, too, as special supplies, events, and limited-time missions centred around Aldric will also be available through June 25th and July 2nd. You'll also want to keep an eye out for the newly added legendary quest for those who have Yekaterina in their party, which is being added in this update.
