The battle for immortality to go on a mobile quest

Facebook and MySpace RPG Wargods Online coming to iPhone

It seems that most any Facebook, MySpace or other social network game is well advised to look toward Apple's platform when it comes to expansion, and that's precisely what Enigma Games is planning with its flagship title, Wargods Online.

Devised by Enigma founder and designer Xavier Moore, Wargods Online has gained a cult following on the two social networking sites as players battle it out in a dungeon crawler setting with a strong, classical RPG theme.

Players create a team of four fantasy characters from the 12 available classes, and an in-game purchase system allows you to upgrade your team to face the many challenges Wargods Online has to offer. Also, there are ninja.

"It starts out with the concept – blending things that other people have come up with and adding my own twists," Moore told CommercialAppeal.

Presumably Engima Games has been waiting for the iPhone's 3.0 software to roll out before adapting Wargods Online, to allow for the continuation of the micro-transaction system.

Windows Mobile and BlackBerry ports are also planned.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
