Vampire Survivors introduces the new Chaotic One patch, with a new challenge stage and achievements to chase

Recently released and mega-successful roguelike bullet-hell Vampire Survivors has introduced a brand new patch to the game, introducing an absolute boatload of content for players to experience. Having been out for only a few months, it’s shocking to see such a big content drop already, but players who have reached the end game and found themselves lacking for a challenge will be pleasantly surprised by this one!

Patch v1.3.0, entitled The Chaotic One, introduces three new achievements to chase after, a new challenge stage, and two brand new relics for your runs. First off, let’s discuss this new challenge stage.

“Bat Country”, as it has been titled, is a stage that gives into the chaotic side of Vampire Survivors and throws you into an absolute meat grinder of a colourful smorgasbord, filled to the brim with the default bat enemy. The stage changes as it goes on, and will swap from a spherical 3D stage that’s a clear reference to the Blue Sphere levels in Sonic Mania of all things, to a multi-coloured square stage, and more. It’s pure chaos, and Vampire Survivor players who just wanna have some crazy fun are sure to love it.

Those two new relics are kept under wraps for now, though one is confirmed to be a “larger-than-life powerup" for the skeleton creature. Judging by the trailer, it seems to transform him into the massive skeleton enemy you can see on various stages.

The achievements included in this patch are also kept secret, along with a teased “few new surprises” that players will have to dig for themselves. All-in-all, this is a pretty large batch of new content for a minor update, so why not give it a swing?
