Vampire Survivors, the massively successful survival bullet hell indie darling, finally launches for iOS and Android

The game that inspired an entire genre of clones, the legendary auto-battling roguelike with tons of collectibles, and the absolute masterpiece that is Vampire Survivors has, at long last, released for iOS and Android. That’s right, this is not one of the many sister titles that take after it, this is not a free version with less content, this is the real deal, and it is finally completely available to play in its entirety right in your pocket!

This is quite possibly the biggest mobile release of the year, and it’s easy to see when you look at the App Store and see just how many of the most popular mobile games have been trying to emulate what the originally PC-exclusive Vampire Survivors does., Twenty Minutes Till Dawn, and many others are all directly inspired by this game, and many fans have been begging for it to drop on mobile.

Well, beg no more, as it is finally here! And I am happy to report that it plays excellently, a near-perfect recreation of its PC counterpart. To make it even better, it’s designed to be played in portrait mode too, making it basically the most flawless version of the game we could ask for on our phones.

In case you’re curious what all the hype is about, Vampire Survivors is one of the biggest indie hits of the year, utilizing a simple gameplay style of you picking up items and creating builds of auto-attacking items and stat buffing gear to do battle with endless hordes of demons, vampires, zombies, you name it. There are plenty of unlockables, a ton of characters to choose from and even between run progression mechanics too.

If you haven’t played it yet, you absolutely should! And now, you can do so on either iOS or Android by checking out either of the links below to download it completely free of charge!
