Toyforming, the artistic sandbox game that lets players create their own worlds, is launching later this month
A couple of weeks ago, Toyforming Studios, an independent game development studio opened pre-registration for the artistic creator sandbox called Toyforming. The educational mobile game allows players to explore their inner artists by converting two-dimensional drawings into lifelike three-dimensional objects using the power of AI.
Artificial intelligence is on the rise with the advent of chatbots like ChatGPT and Toyforming leverages this powerful technology to seamlessly transform simple drawings into three-dimensional forms. Players can sketch absolutely anything; animals, plants, and even vehicles, and all of them will come to life as they find their home on a cosy new planet.
Speaking about the game, CEO of Toyforming Studios, Kazutomo Sasaki, said: “Toyforming is a fun game for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy! Whether you’re a drawing master or less confident, it's always exciting and often hilarious to see your creation come to life. Toyforming’s gameplay also helps with learning new words and the game can be used as a creative educational tool for kids - who said learning can’t be fun!”
When Toyforming brings creations to life, it can do that in the real world as well. Once the AR camera is turned on, players can check out their dream planet in reality. Besides drawing the objects in this world, players can also control the environment, shifting between daytime and nighttime settings. It can also be shared with friends and family and it makes a perfect learning tool to help expand children’s vocabulary.
