Torchlight: Infinite launches worldwide with the Cube of Rapacity season

The wait is finally over because XD Inc has just launched their highly anticipated ARPG, Torchlight: Infinite on mobile. The Torchlight series has been a beloved one and the new game is no different with a massive roster of characters, eye-popping visuals, intricate customization, and of course, seamless cross-platform integration.

What’s more is that Torchlight: Infinite is releasing a brand new season as well. The Early Access period saw a couple of its own seasons and the global version becomes available with the Cube of Rapacity. It comes with a new playable hero, Escapist Bing and the Incarnation of the Gods Hero Trait for Thea.

The name of the season itself marks the introduction of a new mechanic that adds another layer of thrill to battles. It ramps up the risk-to-reward ratio as players are put on the lookout for strange cubes from Desire Incarnations. Slaying creatures will unlock Divinity Slates, which are pattern-based puzzles that lead to extremely valuable rewards.

Furthermore, Incarnations also have a chance of dropping Desire Cores, which must be collected in order to challenge The Law Bearer, this season’s boss. This one’s a special boss too and is one of the game’s toughest battles as of now. A number of special rewards are up for grabs for victorious players.

Torchlight: Infinite already has a range of customization options but the new Talent Panel takes things to another level. This one varies quite a bit from the pre-existing six and has been dedicated to the 7th God. This is where the Divinity Slates I mentioned come in handy. As opposed to the six panels, number seven doesn’t follow a linear progression and bonuses are obtained based on the grid arrangement.

To top it off, the global release has a bunch of improvements and features like the Guilds System to look out for too.
