Today Nordeus has released a major update to their popular football management game, Top Eleven. This sees it having a slight name to change to be more current, Top Eleven 2021, and introduces a host of updates that promise to enhance the matchday experience for players.

One of the headline changes to the soccer sim is the introduction of customisable stadiums. Now players will be able to collect different grass patterns to give their ground a more personal feel. These pitches can be seen throughout the game and will provide new reward options in tours, challenges and other modes.

Beyond grass, different weather conditions have also been added to Top Eleven. This will give players more to think about when it comes to their strategies for each match since these weather changes can affect player condition.

Elsewhere, before players step onto the pitch to play, there is now a new live match introduction. This aims to give the game a more television-style feel such as showing the line-ups of both sides before kick-off. The home screen has also been redesigned to display upcoming fixtures.

Discussing the game, Top Eleven ambassador, Jose Mourinho, said: “One of the great experiences you have as a football manager is the feeling you get every time you enter the stadium on a matchday. The passion, excitement and support of the crowd make every manager feel like they are home. Now, Top Eleven Managers can enjoy the same excitement as real-life Managers, with the opportunity to customize and build out their stadiums to enhance their own match day experience.”

Top Eleven is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
