Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence is the popular franchise's next canon title, coming to mobile

Mobile gamers are in for a massive treat because of the most beloved third-person shooter franchise is releasing its next title on mobile. Since you’ve already seen the poster, you know that Tom Clancy’s The Division is coming to iOS and Android. Yes, Ubisoft’s infamous TPS is making its way to phones in the form of Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, the hit series’ new canon opus with a brand new storyline.

While we have seen Tom Clancy games on mobile in the past, this will be The Division series’ first entry. The story takes place between the events of The Division and The Division 2 in a post-crisis New York City that is plagued by chaos. It bridges the gap between the two console and PC games, giving players a new look into the key events of the two titles. While Resurgence has its own independent storyline, it will bear strong ties to its predecessor and successor.

In Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, players will be part of the first wave of agents from the Strategic Homeland Division, where they must guard citizens and protect them from unruly factions who seek destruction. The game is set in a vast open-world with intricate environments and locations that have been beautifully designed. Players will be able to customize their characters and upgrade them to be capable of fighting anybody. Specializations, signature weapons and gadgets will eventually be unlocked as well.

Resurgence will be playable solo or co-op with strategic elements that make use of everything new the game has to offer. The Division series is also full of game modes, gear, and weapons, all of which will be taken a step further to make a novel and immersive gameplay experience for fans of the series.
