The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin drops a new video that showcases the vastness of Brittania
  • New developer video answers questions directly asked by fans
  • Includes details on writing, art, and combat
  • Pre-registrations are currently open

After pre-registrations opened last month, Netmarble has picked up the pace for its upcoming release, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. They’ve just dropped a developer commentary video where the team answers fan questions pulled directly from Discord, covering everything from narrative direction to gameplay systems and character design.

7DS: Origin’s commentary features key creatives across scenario writing, art, and combat systems. They outlined the massive scope of Britannia, promising hidden dungeons, epic battles against giant demons, and a story that follows Tristan while weaving in familiar faces from the original Seven Deadly Sins saga. You’ll form a team of four with both new and returning heroes.

Strategic combat will naturally be a big focus, allowing you to collect and swap out characters beyond just the main cast. The developers also teased original characters and storylines, set within a multiverse narrative created specifically for the RPG. If you’re coming in from Grand Cross, this isn’t just a continuation - it’s a brand new adventure with much bigger possibilities.
