The Ramp is a simplified skateboarding game that offers both a challenge and some relaxation along the way as you play. What's interesting is that, instead of focusing on full-blown levels, the game gives you different ramp designs to conquer (hence the name).

From a style and graphical standpoint, it is extremely similar to Skate City, the popular game that's on Apple Arcade. The main difference is what we already mentioned, which is that Skate City features cities as levels as opposed to The Ramp, which gives you some ramps to master.

Your goal is just to nail as many tricks as you can on each level. You can try to master it or if you just want to chill out and play then you can do that too. But here are a few other things you should know about playing The Ramp on your iOS or Android.

Super Simple Design

A couple of beautiful things about The Ramp is that; not only is it fun to play, but its design is about as simple as it gets. What makes this great is that it won't eat up space on your phone or tablet. The graphics are still solid too so there's a balance of minimal but with lovely graphics and colours.

As we know, some games can heat up mobile devices if the settings are too high or if the game is just too powerful to handle. It's the same with console and PC gaming as well. It's all fun and games until you quickly start to run out of space and you need to regularly delete games just to make room.

That's the beauty of mobile games like The Ramp. And you should be able to play it on most devices so you don't need to latest phone or tablet to enjoy the game. It's one of those small things that gamers can easily appreciate.

A Sprinkle of Challenge

As minimal as The Ramp is, it does provide a steady amount of challenge for gamers. When you first fire it up, you might feel like it's a bit tricky (no pun intended) but it won't take you long to get comfortable with the controls overall, not to mention it feels satisfying.

Take a look at:

It's really one of the better mobile games out there in terms of balancing ease and challenge. Even if you perfect the art of performing tricks and such, you still have a variety of ramps to conquer too. In some ways, it's kind of like playing golf. In golf, the course designs themselves bring a unique challenge. In some ways, this equates to The Ramp as well.

As mentioned, it can be a very satisfying game. If you start out and crash a few times, it can suck but man, once you start nailing them down, it's as smooth as butter.

Relaxing Skateboarding Experience

We talked about the challenge that The Ramp can bring, but sometimes you just want to chill out, clear your mind, and game. Well, you'll be able to do that here too. Much like the aforementioned Skate City, the vibes of the game are very easy-going.

You can just spend a good amount of time doing some tricks on the different ramps. It's one of those good games to play when you're lounging in bed or on a couch but want to get in some gaming without going for a hardcore experience.

You can still enjoy the challenge and opportunity to master your skills, all while relaxing. It's really one of the more unique games that blend these elements together. It's not going to blow you away with huge levels and an amazing soundtrack but it does provide the fun of skateboarding games in a chill manner.
