Switchland Rescue lets you play as the damsel in distress to rescue your beloved, out now on Android devices

Switchland Rescue, the latest mobile title from bitmagine Studio of "A Blob and his Box" fame, lands on Windows, Linux, and Android devices today. The charming puzzle game features simple one-finger controls and adorable pixel art aesthetics that keep the game casual and challenging at the same time.

In Switchland Rescue (and very true to its title), the tables have turned and you'll play as the damsel not-so-in-distress on a quest to rescue her loved one. In this lovely subversion of the average rescue story, you'll fight against the evil Razzel and save the kingdom of Switchland while traversing moving blocks and avoiding deadly spikes at the same time.

As you progress through the colourful levels, you'll encounter more and more obstacles that stand between you and your beloved. This includes pesky bees, wayward worms, and sticky alien-like thingies - if you think that's quite odd for a puzzle game, you can catch the gameplay video embedded below to see what I mean. Along the way, you'll also collect gems and toggle switches while a quirky soundtrack serenades you in the background.
