First of a million updates

Super Mega Worm gets more super and mega with Game Center

I enjoyed playing old skool destructoid game Super Mega Worm but in its original state didn't quite think it deserved a Pocket Gamer award.

Still, I hoping the new update will fix some of the things I didn't like.

Most important is when your worm explodes into flames when you run out of energy, you now have the option to continue, thus enabling you to complete the game, and not repeat the first 10 minutes all the time like I ended up doing.

Big future list

Also added is support for Game Center.

At the moment, this means you can compare your high score with other players but achievements will be added in a future update.

Indeed, developer Deceased Pixel is hard at work with a new D-pad control scheme, more game modes, more environments, new items to eat, new power ups, and iPad support all promised before too long.

It's also worth noting that Super Mega Worm is currently priced at 99c, €0.79 or 59p compared to the original $2.99, €2.39 or £1.79.

Get it now, and you won't be disappointed if the price changes.

You can see how it plays in the following video.
