Sunshine Days is a beautiful, laid-back game that's about making yourself at home. You play as a protagonist, which you create. They're trying to find a new place to call home as their rent is going to increase and they are unable to afford it.

Trying to avoid going homeless, the protagonist then discovers an opportunity where they can purchase a home for free. The homes are in a lovely, green landscape located in the forest and mountains. You will then soon be presented with your new cosy home.

You'll first have the opportunity to buy some furniture with some free coins that are given to you. After that, it's time to settle in and place your new shiny stuff. But aside from that, there are some other neat things to check out in this easy-going game. Here are a few tips to get you started.

Craft Away

Quite possibly the most important thing in Sunshine Days is furniture. Think of it as you would in Animal Crossing. You're trying to build something from humble beginnings. And that tends to start with crafting some solid items.

You can head into the forest and chop down some trees. This will grant you some wood to form some goods to add to your crib. The first thing you'll likely create is a mailbox so you can start receiving letters from all of the friendly folks in town.

You can create other things as well. Just make sure to head back to the forest frequently to chop some of that lumber. Also, you can buy furniture at the local store if you have enough currency to work with. All in all, you have a couple of solid options to build your dream home.

Sell Items You Don't Want

We talked about currency in the last tip. Here's another related to that to help you earn some nice coin. You can talk to Mr. Shiba in the farmer's market-style location towards to centre of the map. There, you'll meet Mr. Shiba himself.

He'll buy almost any goods that you have. From fruits to vegetables and everything in between. This is a great and easy way to rack up the dough. You can use this to make more purchases to improve your home and your garden in the backyard.

So really, just keep doing what you're doing. Collect things, chop wood, and you'll have plenty of things used for DIY (Do It Yourself) projects as well as making a little profit.

Complete Quests

So this is a given, but definitely make sure you complete some quests in Sunshine Days. You'll have main quests but then there will be some side quests from other characters. Take advantage of this as this will be a good way to earn free items.

It could be materials like paint, coins, etc. On top of that, by completing them, you'll gain experience points which will net you even more rewards for the season pass. So overall, you can't go wrong with almost any of the quests you do.
