Sunset World Online is a 2D platformer MMORPG out now on Google Play and on Steam

Sunset World Online from Musclebird lands on Android devices and on Steam today, letting players experience a unique 2D platformer MMORPG. The free-to-play title is also welcoming players into the game with a special promo code “swo2022” for 20 SWP - in-game currency players can use to redeem two to three cosmetic goodies from the SWP Shop.

In Sunset World Online, players can take their pick from among four classes of characters: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. This elemental approach is a way for the game to differentiate itself from other titles in the genre that rely on party roles such as your typical DPS, tank or healer. Instead, Wind attribute characters can focus on movement and quick repositioning, allowing for more strategic placing when push comes to shove during combat.

On the other hand, Earth characters can control crowds and keep pesky foes in the right place to immobilise them or debuff their abilities. Meanwhile, Water characters provide healing support and Fire characters are all about pure firepower. This makes for more tactical gameplay and teamwork, which is crucial during epic boss battles. Players can also enjoy a “build” system where they can create tactics from items, spells and roles. Do you prioritise life-steal, stun lock or cooldown?

If you're eager to experience the quests, random encounters, the day and night system and more, Sunset World Online is now available to download on the Google Play Store for Android devices as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can also check out the MapleStory-inspired title and give it a go for yourself on Steam.
