Summoners War: Lost Centuria celebrates its one-year anniversary with a new update and login event

Summoners War: Lost Centuria is now one year old, and it's been a successful first 12 months for the strategy game. It has seen around 5.7 million downloads in 174 countries, which isn't too surprising given the popularity of the franchise. Regardless, it's still a milestone worth celebrating, and that's what Com2uS is doing with the latest update, which introduces a log in event and content changes.

To celebrate the first anniversary, players can earn numerous rewards simply by remembering to log in each day, including monsters and skill stones. On top of that, the more people who participate in the log-in event, the players might be able to net a Skill Stone Summon Ticket (Legend), which is a highly coveted item in Lost Centuria.

The update also introduces a new Ancient Rune System, which will give players more powerful Monsters and deck combo strategies by adding several set effects. These can increase the attack, defense, and HP of allies located in the same row as the selected monsters.

Beyond that, players can expect to find new currencies in the game. They can earn Magic Power Dust by completing daily quests and tournament victory rewards and use it to produce the newly added Ancient Runes. The second new currency is Ancient Crystals, which players can use to upgrade and customise Ancient Runes.

Alternatively, players can swap the new currencies for LC2 and C2X tokens through the digital wallet C2X Station if they'd prefer. Obviously, these can then be used in the C2X ecosystem across the globe, although there are some exceptions, including Korea. For more details on this, head over to the game's official website.

Summoners War: Lost Centuria is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
