Subway Surfers to cross over with Crossy Road in new collaboration event
Pun not intended

- Subway Surfers is set to cross over with similarly popular Crossy Road
- Both games will feature iconic characters and worlds
- Starting March 31st this three week event will bring the best of both worlds to you, literally
Aside from being one of, if not the most, popular mobile games in the world, Subway Surfers has also proven to be surprisingly attractive for collaborations. Although far from common, there's a reason that their crossovers are always attention-grabbing, and today's is no different as the hit Frogger-like Crossy Road meets the Subway Surfers universe.
Surprisingly enough this crossover event is not limited to either release, and whether you're a devoted fan of Crossy Road or Subway Surfers you'll be able to jump in and enjoy exclusive crossover characters, special events and unlockable content for both!
Starting March 31st Subway Surfers players can leap into the Crossy Road challenge where you run to extend your time and can win exclusive rewards, such as themed characters Chicken Jake and Mallard Tricky. Meanwhile, Crossy Road fans can try out the similarly-themed Subway Surfers world with the iconic character Jake, taking advantage of powerups and trying to collect as many subway tokens as possible.

Considering the immense popularity of both of these releases, I suppose it was merely a matter of time before they decided to team up. At the same time this is still a red letter day for many fans, I'm sure. I also think it says a lot about how much it actually takes to get the attention of players nowadays, as a crossover could potentially split the attention of their player bases.
But either way, for fans of Crossy Road and Subway Surfers alike, starting March 31st these three weeks in April will be full of fun.
