iPhone tilt game Stop The Vom could make you feel a bit queasy
Clue is in the title
When it comes to game descriptions, there's unclear and then there's willfully obscure. For example...
"Rabtus is stuck on a swing (it's all Cumber's fault, they always trick each other) and your goal is to tilt your device to stabilise the swing and prevent Rabtus from vomiting. With Papinoy, Tantzaba and other good and bad creatures you're gonna have to tap or avoid tapping, it ain't gonna be easy!"
That's how the Handsome Fellas explain their game Stop the Vom.
Don't look downActually, despite the wacky theme and cool artwork, it's a fairly straightforward tilt-based game in which you have to tilt your iPhone or iPod touch to keep a character - Rabtus - upright, and hence stop him being sick when various creatures land on him.
Adding some complication, the levels are timed but you can speed this up by tapping on certain flying creatures, although if you hit the wrong sort, you'll add time.
Still, the main fun to be had is experiencing the very strange world in which Rabtus and Cumber live. It would certainly be interesting to see if they star in any other games.
Stop the Vom is out now for iPhone and iPod touch, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p.
