Static Shift Racing lets you customise your ride and take part in underground street races, out now on mobile
Timbo Jimbo has announced the official launch of Static Shift Racing, letting players compete to nab first place in an open-world racing game on iOS and Android. Set in the late 1990s, the game boasts deep customisation features where racers can tinker around with their vehicles to suit their personal preferences, as well as install upgrades to make sure their cars are at the top of their game on the road.
In Static Shift Racing, players can expect to rev up and take part in thrilling underground street races as they go head-to-head against other racers across the globe. Players can also go solo and put their own racing skills to the test with single-player challenges. Racing modes include Circuit Races, Sprint Races, Drift Sprints, Drift Attack, Marker Hunt and more.
At launch, the game will feature five cars that players can choose to race in an open-world district - but players can also look forward to more content as the game matures in the next few months. Customisation features allow players to revamp their ride with everything from rims and bumpers to hoods and paint jobs. The game also features controller support during races to offer players more control on the tracks.
If you're keen on getting your hands on the game yourself, you can download Static Shift Racing on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
