Similo: The Card Game is an upcoming digital adaptation of the cooperative guessing game. It will be heading for both iOS and Android in future but for now, the developers are looking to hold a beta test between September 1st and 15th.

The number of people able to take part in the beta is limited so you'll want to head over to the appropriate Google Form and fill it in if you're eager to get involved. The beta will be for both iOS and Android and applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

This digital adaptation of Similo will feature a variety of play modes to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the game with others no matter their situation. There's Pass and Play for those fortunate enough to live under the same roof as other Similo fans and an Online Multiplayer option for those who want to take on the world.

The game itself sees players trying to guess a secret character from a choice of twelve that will be shown on-screen. One player will know the secret character and will act as a Clue Giver and will provide the others with a hint each round by playing other characters. From there, the Guessers must then discard one of the characters.

If they discard the secret character then everybody loses, with the aim being to get to a stage where that's the only card left, so everybody wins. The Clue Giver must be smart then and play characters that are either similar or different from the secret card and the Guessers will have to use their deduction prowess to figure this out.

Similo is set to release on the App Store and Google Play at some stage in the future. If you wish to take part in the upcoming beta, simply fill in this Google Form.
