Settris is a chill puzzler on Android that’s definitely not just Tetris underwater
Just don’t ask where the T went

- Rotate and place blocks to fill the board
- Two modes to choose from
- Calming underwater-inspired design and music
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if someone put Tetris in a fish tank and gave it a slightly suspect name, Settris is your answer. Just released for Android devices, this new puzzler from Zoo Corporation proudly describes itself as a relaxing brain-training block placement puzzle. Which is a fancy way of saying shapes go in holes, but at your own pace.
To be fair, Settris isn’t trying to be a chaotic cousin of Tetris. There’s no falling blocks, no game over screen from one poorly placed L-piece, and no techno soundtrack making you sweat. Instead, this is all about calm, contemplative puzzling.
If you're looking for something similar, here’s a list of the best puzzlers to play on Android right now!
You get a board with empty spaces, and a pile of funky-shaped blocks (polyominoes if you want to get technical). Flip them. Rotate them. Slide them into place and fill the board. It’s part jigsaw, part spatial Sudoku, and part how did I not notice that shape fit there 5 minutes ago?

Settris comes in two modes. In Stage Mode, you can take your time to carefully fit each block into place, gradually tackling more complex shapes as you progress. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself stuck trying to fit six rectangles into a space that clearly needs seven.
If you prefer a bit more excitement, Time Attack Mode tests how many puzzles you can solve against the clock. It pushes you to think quickly and accurately, and it won’t hesitate to remind you when you’re falling behind under pressure.
It might not be winning any originality awards, but Settris knows what it is - a clever little block puzzler with a suspiciously familiar name, and maybe enough personality to stand on its own.
