Rocket League Sideswipe ranks - ranking system explained

In a competitive space, people are always looking to climb higher, and get an evaluation of their skill. Let's talk about the Rocket League SIdeswipe ranks and how you can climb up.

Psyonix's Rocket League Sideswipe is nothing less than a pocket rocket. Unlike the original Rocket League, the movement of cars is restricted to 2D, meaning you can go only forward or backwards. Also, rather than playing in 3v3, you play in a 2v2 or 1v1 format.

There are three game modes available: Duel, Doubles and Hoops. Duel is the 1v1 soccer mode, Doubles is the 2v2 soccer mode, and Hoops is the 2v2 basketball mode. In terms of pushing ranks, each of these modes are separate. You have to climb the ranks in all of these modes independently. Just like PUBG Mobile, you have to push your Solo, Duo, and Squad rank independently. Now that’s clear, let's dig deeper into competitive ranks.

There are a total of seven tiers available. Each of them is further divided into divisions. As soon as you win your first match, you are moved to Bronze I rank, and then you start your journey towards Grand Champion V, which is the highest rank in Rocket League Sideswipe.
