Gameloft's Real Golf 2011 shoots for a hole in one on iPhone

The App Store is surprisingly bereft of decent realistic golf games, with EA's Tiger Woods series being the sole contender on a platform not known for its sparsity.
Gameloft looks set to challenge Tiger's monopoly, having revealed its debut trailer for Real Golf 2011, which packs in some stunning graphics (seemingly optimised for the iPhone 4's Retina display), and an assortment of real life professional players and courses.
The game looks to use a traditional swing meter, as opposed to the traditional 'tap to swing' controls used by other golf games, which should make for a more precise golfing experience.
Gameloft is promising that Real Golf 2011 will arrive in September, so make a mark on your calendar.
