WECAN Dev has officially launched the open alpha of R-Planet, the studio's real-time military-themed strategy game on mobile. The play-to-earn NFT-based game lets players build their own network of bases to amass an army and take down their foes. Players can also join forces with their allies to win more battles and reap bountiful rewards.

In R-Planet, players can expect to gain assets via NFTs, with different privileges depending on the NFT's one-time use or multiple-use function. There are three factions that players can tinker around with as well. The Masterminds, in particular, boast quick battle drones and high-tech transporters, while the Warriors take pride in their powerful combat drones. The Renegades, on the other hand, can cripple the enemy with their stealthy hacker attacks.

Once players pick the faction that suits their playstyle best, they can start gathering resources for their base and take advantage of their domed safety as an initial protection from attacks for the first four days. They can boost their mining capacity, expand their base, capture new ones or team up with their online buddies.

If you're eager to join in on the fun, you can download R-Planet on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices as a free-to-play game. You can join the community of followers on Twitter to stay updated on all the latest developments, visit the official website for more info on the game, or you can also learn more about the ins and outs of how the NFTs and the blockchain elements work on the official blog.
