In case you missed it, WECAN has announced the upcoming launch of a new PvE server for R-Planet, letting players experience the new Ahnangs Invasion mode within the strategy game. Five Ahnang spaceships arrive to establish a base where R-Planeteers must form alliances to capture these bases for bountiful rewards.

The new server within R-Planet will begin on June 1st, with a maximum of 1000 players able to join in on the fun. There will also be a new map view as well as the option to relocate your base once. As for the new hero feature, this lets players attach a hero to their base or send them off on special missions. The in-game hero Drake can be used by players who don't have a hero asset of their own.

"We are working tirelessly to provide you with the best possible player experience," says CEO of WECAN Nazar Chervinskiy. "Please remember that the server launch is scheduled for June 1st, with only 1000 places available. Meanwhile, a little later we will open parallel ones. Also, you can always try the game on the open Playground server."

There are tons of other updates in store for fans, so if you're keen on giving the game a go, you can do so by downloading R-Planet on the Google Play Store and on the iOS App Store. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
