Developer Mixi’s popular pinball-like gacha RPG Monster Strike has announced its most recent collaboration, this one a return of the beloved Attack on Titan crossover. While it is a return of a collaboration, it’s not quite a re-run, as it does come with new characters and new content to experience that was not featured in the first run.

In case you aren’t familiar, Monster Strike is a Japan-exclusive gacha RPG that revolves around a pinball-like mechanic of slinging in units from your team to do battle against a wide variety of creatures and enemies. It relatively recently shut down its global client, but the game has continued to go on quite strongly within the Southeast Asian market.

And if you somehow haven’t heard of Attack on Titan, it’s one of the largest anime properties out there right now. Having been going on since the early 2010s, this series sees a society of child soldiers square off against horrific giants that are intent on destroying humanity from the safety of a singular society with giant walls around it.

So, when the two meet, it’s a recipe for a massive hit of a collaboration given just how large both of these properties are. The characters from Attack on Titan are quite beloved, so to know that Monster Strike players will be able to get characters ranging from the protagonist Erin to side characters like Levi, Gabi, and even Reiner is sure to excite fans of both series alike.

To get specific, players will be able to grab Erin, Mikasa, and Armin simply by logging in and completing certain event-specific tasks while Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Hange, Levi, Gabi and Falco will all be obtainable off the new gacha banner. That’s quite a few free handouts simply for playing, so this event is not one to miss.

And those are just the characters! There’s quite a bit more to this collaboration, so be sure to check out the official Twitter for a deeper dive on the game’s official Twitter account to see all the other new content coming with this crossover too.
