Punishing Gray Raven finally reveals the release date for its highly anticipated PC version, which features cross-progression for mobile gamers
The beloved action gacha RPG Punishing Gray Raven has finally revealed the release date for its upcoming PC client, and we’ll only have to wait a few days as it is due out May 15th. This PC version has been incredibly anticipated, with fans asking for it on the daily since the game launched over 3 years ago. The best part of it all is the confirmed cross-progression, meaning even mobile players have a reason to be excited!
Punishing Gray Raven is likely the best action RPG available for mobile, up there with the likes of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. It features an engaging sci-fi storyline alongside some truly amazing animations and character designs, and an incredibly unique combat system that involves match-3 reflex tests while doing battle.
Since launching 3 years ago, the game has seen a lot of different events and near-constant updates, with its original roster having expanded to a pretty high number since. This new version comes with a new control scheme matched for the keyboard and mouse, and even comes equipped with a feature players have been asking for for quite some time: gamepad support. That’s right - you’ll be able to hook up your own controller and rebind buttons on it to make the game as smooth and comfortable as possible.
The PC client of PGR has been in beta since November of last year, and developer Kuro has been adjusting it as needed based on feedback received during that time, so it’s sure to be a near-perfect port of the game. Throw in that cross-progression that will allow you to swap between your mobile client and your PC client at will, and this is some super exciting news.
