Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket puts Darkness-type cards in the spotlight in latest Outbreak event

Hello, darkness, my old friend

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket puts Darkness-type cards in the spotlight in latest Outbreak event
  • Darkness-type Mass Outbreak event ongoing
  • Get rewards from clearing themed missions
  • Weavile EX is in the spotlight

As you might expect wild Pokemon to do, there's now a Mass Outbreak Event underway within Pokemon TCG Pocket, where it's all about diving headfirst into the darkness this time around. In particular, the Darkness-type Pokemon Mass Outbreak Event will run until February 27th, offering a higher chance for these creatures to pop up in rare and bonus picks.

Missions you clear during the event period might just reward you with particular shop tickets as well, along with additional Flair to be given away via exchanges throughout the event period.

At the forefront of this dark new update is Weavile EX, an evolved form of Sneasel which can pile on even more damage if your enemy's Active Pokemon is already hurt. Darkrai, on the other hand, will also appear in rare picks, and can knock your opponent's Active Pokemon to sleep along with its Dark Void attack. As for Bonus Picks, Murkrow will pop up to help you complete your Dex in case you're still missing a few Darkness-type contenders.
