As the eventful May continues in Pokemon GO, Niantic is setting up a special weekend event for the players in partnership with Verizon, 7-Eleven Mexico and Yoshinoya. The following companies belong to the US, Mexico and Japan respectively.

Once again, Trainers can enjoy Timed Research, special featured Pokemon, and lots more during the weekend event. In order to get in, players will have to acquire an event ticket either digitally or by visiting a partner store. After grabbing a ticket, head to the Offer Redemption website of Pokemon Go. Successfully redeem the ticket with your ID and participate in the entire weekend event. The event is set to run from May 29th until May 30th.

Details of the weekend event:
  • On May 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, players will get a chance to encounter certain Pokemon
  • Use Incense to attract Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Eevee, Marill, Sableye, Stunky, Spritzee, and Swirlix along with a rare chance to spot Shiny Eve.

  • To make things more exciting, each partner of the event will feature a special Pokemon in their respective regions.
  • From May 29th at 12:00 a.m. to May 30th, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. local time.
  • Trainers can encounter Eevee, Spiritzee, Swirlix and Deino during the Event-exclusive Timed Research and rewards include XP, Stardust, Incense, a Star Piece, a Lucky Egg, Spritzee Candy, and Swirlix Candy.
  • Invite friends and trade with them to increase your chance to receive a lucky Pokemon.
  • Each Pokemon caught during the event will grant you double XP.

In addition, the developers will give free bonuses to all the Trainers around the world, from May 28th at 10:00 a.m. to May 31st 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Also, the number of Gifts opened daily will be doubled and the trading range will be increased to 40 km.

Pokemon GO is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
