Pokemon Go's Halloween 2022 Part Two kicks off next week, with part one already live

Pokémon Go finally kicked off its Halloween celebrations today with the first part of the festival going live today. It will run for another week, featuring debutants like Mega Banette alongside multiple other research events, avatar items, and more. Now, with day one of the celebrations almost wrapped up, it’s time to check out what the second part holds for trainers.

Pokémon Go’s Halloween 2022 Part Two will be held between October 27th and November 1st. While we won’t see any new Pokémon making their debut in this half, a lot of Pokémon will be seen donning special Halloween costumes. Trainers will find Vulpix, Ninetales, Gengar, Pumpkaboo, and Gourgeist all wearing different Spooky Festival costumes.

Pokémon in Raids and in the wild will remain more or less the same, with Mega Banette still present in Mega Raids. All the new costumed Pokémon alongside Pikachu wearing a Halloween Mischief hat will be available in the wild and through Field Research Task encounters. In five-star Raids, Origin Forme Giratina will replace its Altered Forme variant.

The Halloween special Timed Research will continue throughout phase two as well, giving players two options – A $1.00 ticker that provides encounters with Yamask, and one that costs $5.00 that does the same alongside more Candy bonuses, an avatar item, and Halloween-themed tasks.

All these events ensure that trainers needn’t go out of their way to complete any tasks but they can go about their regular way of playing and still complete everything thanks to the added bonuses. There is 2x Candy for catching, hatching, and transferring Pokémon, with extra Candy XL for players above level 31. In addition to this, certain missions will grant Gengar and Absol Mega Energy as well.
