Pokemon Go is kicking off Halloween 2022 soon, with part one featuring Mega Banette's debut
Niantic has finally opened up about the most awaited event of this month, Pokémon Go Halloween 2022! Similar to last year, Pokémon Go’s Halloween celebrations have been divided into two parts, and we’ve just learned everything that will be included in the first. Players will find a multitude of Ghost-type Pokémon in the wild, themed research, and a bunch of treats in the store between October 20th and 27th.
Making its debut in Pokémon Go’s Halloween 2022 celebration is Mega Banette, the Marionette Pokémon. It will be available in Mega Raids during the fest. Additionally, Altered Forme Giratina will be present in five-star Raids and will know the special featured attack Shadow Force.
Lots of researchers will be active during this event. The hallmark is the Special Research, which involves helping Professor Willow and Rhi as they try to learn more about Yamask and Galarian Yamask, including a Shiny Variant. The research will run until November 1st.
Next is a Timed Research Trainers will need to pay for. The first kind of ticket costs a dollar and features encounters with the Special Research Pokémon while the second ticket, which is $5, includes extra Candy bonuses, themed tasks, and an avatar pose.
The wilds will be full of ghostly Pokémon and completing Field Research will award even more encounters with Pokémon like Duskull, Shuppet, and Phantump. Completing these will net Mega Energy for Absol and Gengar.
