Pokémon Go’s March 2025 Community Day will feature the Fire Croc Pokémon, Fuecoco

Niantic recently revealed a series of important dates in Pokémon Go, outlining when most of the upcoming content would go live. With a new season almost upon us, it’s time to look at its first offering, the March Community Day. This event will be spearheaded by Fuecoco on the 8th, between 2:00 and 5:00 pm local time, and will see the Fire Croc Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild.
Several event bonuses will be active throughout the Fuecoco Community Day in Pokémon Go. You’ll earn triple Stardust and double Candy for catching Pokémon, with an increased chance of Candy XL if you’re level 31 or higher. Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, and you can make one additional Special Trade, reducing the Stardust cost by 50%.
Evolving Crocalor, Fuecoco’s evolved form, during the event or up to a week afterwards will grant you a Skeledirge that knows Blast Burn, a powerful Charged Attack. Skeledirge will also gain permanent access to Torch Song, a Charged Attack that boosts its Attack stat in battles while delivering 70 power in Trainer Battles and 100 power in raids and Gyms.
If you’re looking for additional rewards, a Fuecoco Community Day Special Research story will be available for $2 (or local equivalent). Completing the research will earn you a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, more Fuecoco encounters, and three Fuecoco with a Seasonal Special Background.

You’ll also have access to Timed Research that lasts for a full week, offering another chance to encounter a Fuecoco with a Seasonal Special Background and an increased Shiny rate.
