Pokémon Go’s latest Season of Alola is in full swing with lots of events and new Pokémon to find. This month’s Community Day featured the mouse Pokémon Sandshrew alongside its Alolan variant. Trainers can now gear up for April with Stufful, the Flailing Pokémon, making its way to the AR game. On April 23rd, between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Stufful and its shiny variant will make their debut in the wild.

Next month’s Community Day will also feature some changes. Last year, the Community Day length was doubled to six hours, however, not much participant activity was seen beyond three hours. As a result, Niantic is moving back to the regular three hours as it has shown to have the best player interaction so that more trainers can meet with each other out in the open. Although the time has been reduced to half, there are a lot more benefits to enjoy.

Event bonuses will include 3x Catch XP, 2x Catch Candy with a chance of receiving 2x Stufful XL Candy, Incense and Lure Modules lasting three hours. Trades will require 50% less Stardust and an extra trade can be made up to two hours after the event. Additionally, playing with friends is encouraged as they can activate group play bonuses. If a set number of Pokémon are caught from a single Lure, that area will reward 4x XP for the next 30 minutes. As always, the paid and free event bundles alongside Community Day stickers will be available in the item shop.

Stufful evolves into Bewear after obtaining 400 Candy and will learn the Charged Attack Drain Punch if players manage to evolve it during or up to two hours after the event. To top it all off, trainers can, for $1.00, unlock Strong Stuff, the Community Day Special Research for some extra goodies.
