No, it's not an April Fool's thing - even though Haegin was celebrating it late because of a mischievous fairy within Play Together - as Pompompurin is officially joining the fun in the form of themed cosmetics!
In particular, you can gear up for your own Pompompurin Cafe in the latest update thanks to the Pompompurin Draw (14 days left!). With the new Pompompurin Hot Air Balloon, for instance, you can soar through the sunny skies and travel around Kaia Island.
The Pompompurin Cafe furniture will also be up for grabs, including the Pompompurin Cafe Sofa and the Pompompurin Cafe Table. All these add to your aesthetics if you're looking to build your own Sanrio-themed cafe, because who wouldn't want to sprinkle all of the brand's good vibes all over the island?
There's a character-shaped stool and a fridge that's shaped like Pompompurin too, by the way, which makes me wonder if this chubby little fella can also inhale and take all kinds of shapes much like Kirby can.
Personally, I think the best of all the items in the draw is the Pompompurin Mega Doll, which is basically a humongous doll of Pompompurin in a baker's hat and an apron. 'Nuff said.
That said, the 4th-anniversary festivities are still underway on the official player community, so if you'd like to leave a congratulatory comment, you might just win special goodies depending on the number of comments submitted until April 16th. The rewards pool contains 1 Blue Diamond and a Lucky Star Box and Gem Box among others, so get commenting!
