Bulkypix's Pix'n Love Rush released for iPhone

From a collaboration between Bulkypix and Pastagames, platformer Pix'n Love Rush looks like a Tamagotchi, a dot matrix printer, and a Game Boy all fell into a blender, and this iPhone game popped out.

It also features graphical styles from decades of classic portable consoles, including a smudgy green Game Boy looking skin and a crimson Virtual Boy overlay.

Like more and more platforming games on the iPhone, Pix'n Love Rush features both a traditional level structure, with 125 stages and seven skins, as well as an Infinity mode, which has you running forever, to see how far you can get before you mess up.

You might have seen a similar game on the Xbox Live Indie games, where the cat character originated in the Arkedo series game, Pixel. Check it out, if you've got one of them Xbox things.

Pix'n Love Rush is available now for iPhone and iPod touch for 59p / 99c / €0.79.
