TowerMadness developer Limbic announces casual climber Nuts! for iPhone

| Nuts!

The addictive TowerMadness HD earned our iPad Reader’s Choice Award, and now developer Limbic Software is back with an old skool arcade game Nuts!

It stars Jake the Squirrel, who's running up the Infinitree in search of coins, power-ups, and nuts. You can use the coins to buy shields and other items.

You tilt your iPhone to dodge branches, or use power ups to smash straight through them. For example, the fireball lets you fly like a rocket.

It also looks like the game might have some 3D elements, in terms of rotational options, which if true, would provide another twist to the Doodle Jump gameplay.

Assorted nuts

Anyhow, different themes such as Ice Zone and Charred Wasteland will keep the action varied, while you can share your scores via Facebook and email, and compare with other players via Game Center.

And there's motion blur too. Nuts! will be out on Monday for the introductory price of 59p, €0.79 or 99c.
