During its E3 showcase Square Enix Presents, the publisher has revealed worldwide pre-registration for the upcoming NieR Reincarnation is now available. The game was previously open for this but only in specific countries.

NieR Reincarnation was announced last year as a mobile exclusive, with a bunch of exclusive info about the game coming during the 2020 Tokyo Game Show. It then opened for pre-registration in Japan where it was released in February.

It takes place in the same universe as NieR and NieR: Automata, where you play as the mysterious Girl in White who is guided through the world by a strange being called Mama. As you continue your journey, you unlock different memories of the past while also avoiding a huge armoured creature called the Dark Monster.

You'll also meet other characters in the game who can assist you during battle. It's important to give commands to different party members as you vanquish your foes. If you're not one for combat, there'll also be an auto mode for those who would rather experience the world and story.

Check out the opening movie that Square Enix previously released for NieR Reincarnation to see more about it. As you can see, it contains the same amount of strangeness that we come to expect from Yoko Taro and the series as a whole.

NieR Reincarnation is currently targeting a release of 6th November, or that’s at least what the store listing states. It will be coming to the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store as a free to play game with in-app purchases.

This could be subject to change, but we will be sure to update you if any new information about the game comes out.
